West Indies named the squad for the tour to Sri Lanka

The ending of the Men’s T20 World Cup launched the new series of international matches. Thus, Sri Lanka will host the two-match Test tour and face West Indies in the longest cricket format.

Cricket fans expect different squads from those that were in the UAE at the T20 WC. Both teams didn’t pass the Super 12 group stage, while the format change also requires another quality of the athletes.

West Indies will be led by Kraig Brathwaite with Jermaine Blackwood as the vice-cap, while the other team members are the following: Rahkeem Cornwall, Nkrumah Bonner, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Jomel Warrican, Joshua Da Silva, Shannon Gabriel, Jason Holder, Jeremy Solozano, Kyle Mayers, Veerasammy Permaul, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales.

Both games will be played at Galle International Stadium. The first match will be played from 21 to 25 November, while the second game will start on 29 November and will be held until 3 December.
