New dates for West Indies vs Ireland ODIs revealed

The sides agreed on new dates for the delayed ODIs in the Irish tour of the West Indies. The teams played the first game on January 8, with the hosting Windies to win by 24 runs. The second game was planned for January 11 but was postponed due to covid cases and injuries in the visiting squad.

The rescheduled dates for the remaining two ODIs are January 13 and 16. Both games will be played at Sabina Park.

The delay of one game led to eliminating one T20I clash that will start after the ODIs. Both teams are participating in the race for a World Cup slot and have a pretty tight schedule of international tours. Thus, even a two-day postponement means the impossibility to play all the matches in time. Want to know more about cricket and don’t miss the important news?
