Sri Lanka secured a victory in Test cricket against West Indies

While India and New Zealand are only at the start point of their Test clash, Sri Lanka and West Indies have been finishing today their first clash in the longest cricket format.

Before the last day, West Indies had a small chance to chase the home side. In the two innings for Sri Lanka, they scored astonishing 386 and 191 runs. The guests were able to respond with only 230 runs in their first innings.

Yesterday, rainy weather almost destroyed the chances of the West Indies to overcome a result of the hosts. Today, Sri Lanka needed to hit only four wickets, and they did quite fast. The guests found only 160 runs and left an astonishing gap of 187 runs in reserve. The next Test game between the sides will start on November 29.
