India confidently beats South Africa after the third Test day

The opening Test series against South Africa looks under the control of the guests from India. The third day started with India continuing to bat.

The Men in Blue came to the 90th over with only three wickets lost, not out Rahul, who already scored a century. However, the guests added only 54 runs to the existing 273 and finished the first innings in the 105th over. It was a good sign for the hosts as they shortly stopped opponents but were unprepared for batting. In 62 overs, the Proteas scored only 197 runs, with the best result from Bavuma (52).

It meant that India even started batting on the same day. The only bad news for the guests was a fast loss of the opening batter Agarwal, who scored 60 in the first innings.

The scenario of the third day left even more questions. Would the Proteas be successful at bowling? Could the Men in Blue be calm enough in batting or lose the advantage fast? Actually, the end of the first Test promises to be great. Want to know more about cricket and don’t miss the important cricket news?
