First three games of the IPL 2022 were played

The opening clashes in the IPL 2022 took place on the last weekend of March. Three teams gained their victories, while their opponent started the new season with defeats.

Delhi Capitals overcame Mumbai Indians in the tough game. Although the opening partnership of Sharma and Kishan brought solid 122 runs from 80 balls, the further batters failed their scoring opportunities and finalised 177 for 5 for MI. The response from DEL was confident; who scored needed 179 in 18 overs, with a crucial 200+ SR by Thakur and Patel, who helped to close the game along with Yadav’s 48.
